• Forging (monitoring all control features, analyzing all process flow to continually search for improvements.
• Heat Treatment (monitored the production of several large forgings and their respective heat treatments).
• Coating, Welding (Pressure Vessels, Subsea weldments, Duplex Steel), Powder Metallurgical Pressing.
• Foundry (Casting), Steel Making and other similar processes. Heavy Equipment Machining (CNC, EDM, etc...).

Possess significant experience in the following activities:

• Working effectively with personnel in plant supervision, shop set up and operation, and quality in order to coordinate the first time set up and trouble shooting.
• Defining all Quality Control activities – Inspection and Test plans, Surveillance Plans, Promoting Risk Based Inspection, Calibration of inspection equipment etc.
• Creating and maintaining process routings, process drawings, control plans, and all related inspection data.

PV personnel have

• Worked in Machine shops, conducted long term third party inspection assignments at Forging shops and heavy equipment manufacturers.
• Auditing of Steel Plants, Forging Plants, Heat Treatment Shops, Welding Shops, Coating shops, Heavy Duty Machine Shops.
• Monitor all contract processes to identify variances at an early stage.
• Facilitate Corrective Actions. Conduct Root Cause Analysis and promote.
• Prevention Oriented process controls.

Corrosion:

• Initiate and conduct special studies to minimize/control and improve the facilities operation. Participate in field technical studies and assist in the design and construction of corrosion control projects.
• Contribute to preparing the contract specification and be a participant in the bid selection process to ensure that corrective maintenance is regularly carried out.

Welding

• Contribute and participate in the review of WPS/PQR/PWHT / Inspection and Test Plan documentation for Code and Project Specification Compliance.
• Create and maintain WPS-Weld Procedures, PQR-Process Qualification Record and WPQs-Weld Procedure qualifications. Maintain welder qualifications are current and Maintain database of welder qualifications.
• Tracks WPQs and update variables as necessary to be compliant to API 1104; AWS; ASME III & IX, PED (Pressure European Directive), and other customer standards.

Chemical Process Engineering

• Assist with all Process Concept Engineering functions & tasks.
• Conceptualize new ideas for the improvement in process and develop design basis for the proposed changes. Six Sigma – Green Belt Certified (from GE, Yr 2002).
• Worked on various stages of projects like Concept / BFD / FEED & DD.
• Hands on experience to generate PFS, PEFS, PSFS, UEFS, process data sheets, Pump calcs, Vessel sizing, RV sizing, Philosophies and other process calculations.
• Knowledge of international standards like API, ASME, PDO standards & Shell DEP’s, SP’s, PR’s & GU’s, designing for PDO FED & DD projects. Familiar with all key Process deliverables.
• Skilled in use of process engineering softwares like HYSYS, Unisim, Pipesim, Shell FRED, Flarenet.
